Montoya es recordada en Colombia como el posible puente entre los carteles de narcotr\u00e1fico y la campa\u00f1a presidencial de Ernesto Samper entre 1993 y 1994, la musa del proceso 8000. Este personaje, la Monita Retrechera, representa las est\u00e9ticas y la inmediata identificaci\u00f3n de una cultura que hace parte de lo que \u00d3mar Rinc\u00f3n, junto con Lucas Ospina y X Andrade, dicen que es parte innegable del ser colombiano. Rinc\u00f3n es ahora el due\u00f1o de parte de la colecci\u00f3n que fue <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vice.com\/es_co\/article\/avm845\/la-modita-retrechera\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">subastada por la Direcci\u00f3n Nacional de Estupefacientes en el 2012<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00d3mar Rinc\u00f3n es profesor asociado del Centro de Estudios en Periodismo (Ceper) de la Universidad de los Andes y es uno de los cr\u00edticos de televisi\u00f3n y ensayistas medi\u00e1ticos m\u00e1s publicados en el pa\u00eds.
